Family Night at Sesame Street

We surprised the girls with Sesame Street tickets. It was a good kids show and they had a blast naming all the characters. Julianna wants to go back whenever there are more kids shows. She's waiting for the Diego show to come to town. Kasia loved eating all the snacks mommy packed into her bag.

Tennis at the Park

The girls used their birthday monies & gift cards to buy tennis rackets and balls. They had a lot of fun. Julianna didn't understand why the ball just wouldn't go over the net. Kasia seemed to get a lot more over than her sister. I tired out sooner than they did, but hey, I am pregnant chasing two kids and twelve balls around.

It's a painting day!

Julianna would do 'projects' everyday if I let her. Projects consist of anything craft, paint, glue or building related. On this day, we pulled the big easel out on the front porch for painting. Hours later we ended up with many (and I mean many) works of art. Some went to grandparents, some updated our art wall and the rest ... well they've found a new home.

Moths & Lizards

One April morning we found this moth chilling out on the front porch. Julianna thought it was the most beautifulthing ever. About a week or so later, Jason found the red lizard while mowing out front.

Bonfire on the Farm

Jason invited some friends over for a Saturday night brush burning. I was not overly thrilled with the size of his fire, but he was good to his word and kept it all under control.

April 28th - 5 Months

The girls think it's neat that mommy's belly is getting bigger. Just wait 'til the end.

Tulips are Blooming

We have lots of room to plant flowers and other plants. We love taking walks around the yard to see what is new.

Birthday Party

We celebrated early birthdays this year with a party on April 14th. It was a surprise and they were both excited when they walked through the door.

Kasia getting dirty

If there is something for Kasia to get into, she will. On this day, she was playing on the back porch and decided to get into the wet sandbox. She stayed by the back door to get cleaned off before coming into the house. That was one less mess for me to clean up. We have since purchased a new sandbox with a lid.

Easter Egg Dying

Now that the girls are older, it's getting a little easier to dye Easter eggs. Not too much mess this year.

Springtime ... right around the corner

In March, the Daffodils bloomed.

Julianna's Haircut

After many months of asking to have her haircut, we finally did it. We cut off almost 8 inches and Julianna has never been happier when it comes time to brush her hair everyday.
