We are officially 14 weeks pregnant now. Had a bit of trouble trying for Baby #3, but so far - things are going okay. It's been a very difficult pregnancy this time around. I was diagnosed with Shingles at the very beginning -- luckily that hasn't been as bad as I've heard it can be. The nausea and sickness are kicking my butt big time. I've lost 14lbs, but that should be turning around during the second trimester. We'll see. Jason has been a great SuperDad and Husband taking care of everything during this yucky time and hopefully soon I'll be back to myself - only pregnant.
Grandma Jean And Grandpa Emery brought the much awaited Doll House. After the Kitchen Set, this was all they wanted. May all the future Christmases be as simple.
Christmas morning was a lot of fun. Santa brought the girls a Kitchen Set to share, Sn0w Saucers and Gym Mats. The Kitchen Set was the favorite! We have lots of play with that item.
Grandma Dolly, Grandpa Fred, Uncle Jason, Aunt Jessie and Cousin Rien came over for dinner to celebrate before the big day.
What's in a name?
The question we are asked most often is how did we pick our daughter's names? Each one is special and has family influences behind them. Plus, a bit of the Catholic influence of having a Saint as part of the child's name.
Julianna Raye - named after her two great great maternal grandmothers. Julia Jurkiewicz and Anna Fischer. Raye is her godfather and Uncle Jason's middle name.
Kasia (kaa-sha) Mary - named for her mother's Polish heritage. Kasia is Kate in Polish and is simply a name both her parents liked. Mary is the middle name of her great Mommom Jurk, GrandMa Dolly and great Aunt Reenie.
Alisz (ah-leese) Elizabeth - named for her father's Hungarian heritage. Alisz is Alice in Hungarian and has a namesake in her paternal Great Great Aunt Alice. Elizabeth goes back on her paternal side as well, in a great great great grandmother and we also learned it is Aunt Alice's middle name too.
William Emery - named after his daddy and grandfathers. He is such a sweet boy!
