Halloween

We went to a shopping center for trick-or-treating the week before Halloween. The girls had fun looking at all the other kids dressed up. Their favorite part was the balloon guy.

On Halloween, we went down to our local fire hall for a kids party. Lots of fun games to win candy.

Outside Yard Fun

There's a super big yard now for us to rake up leaves if we want to have some fun. Julianna and Kasia both did a great job stuffing the pumpkin.

We made our monster pumpkins. Lots of fun and no mess to clean up.

Kite Flying at Darden Towe Park

There's a really nice park down the road from us. Everthing is down the road a bit from our place. :) We packed a sandwich dinner to enjoy the windy afternoon. Julianna just wanted to keep flying until the sun went down. Kasia lost interest once I pulled out the food.

Carter Mountain Orchard

We went up one of the mountains to a wonderful orchard to pick apples. There were lots to choose from, but you did have to go up and into the orchard to get the good apples. Quite a little hike. The girls loved it and just wanted to keep picking. We also went for a short hayride. We snacked on Apple Cider Donuts before heading home for lunch. Yummy!
